True Glove Leather Gave us Creative Freedom

Our shoes could be dressy or casual, tailored or rustic. The versatility of this material allowed us to push the boundaries of traditional footwear design.

To protect this innovation, we reached an exclusive agreement with the world-renowned tannery that produces True Glove leather. They supply it solely to us for footwear - they won’t sell it to anyone else. This means that when you wear a pair of our shoes, you’re experiencing something truly unique in the world.

We’ve poured years of effort into perfecting every detail - stitching, weaving, and crafting each pair by hand. That’s why True Glove isn’t just a product; it’s our trademark and our passion. It’s what makes our shoes different from anything else you’ll find.

True Glove is special not just because it looks or feels luxurious - but because it makes every shoe better. It’s comfort with purpose, elegance with meaning - a difference you can feel every step of the way.

The Origin of True Glove

The story of True Glove Began in an Unexpected Place

A glove factory in India. I was there overseeing the production of our footwear when something caught my attention. Amid the busy workrooms, I noticed the remarkable delicacy and refinement that went into crafting gloves. The way the artisans stretched the leather before shaping it meant that each glove fit perfectly, wrapping the hand in an unmatched feeling of comfort and elegance.

That Experience Sparked a Question in My Mind

What if we could bring this same feeling - a sense of softness, femininity, and pure comfort - into our footwear? No one had done this before, and I was determined to try.

I took some of that very glove leather back to our footwear factory. We experimented and soon crafted our first True Glove moccasin. The difference was immediate and extraordinary. True Glove leather is made from small hides with virtually no hair follicles, resulting in a finish as smooth as glass. When you put two pieces back-to-back, there’s an almost seamless connection - no roughness, no bulk, just pure, supple comfort.

Most shoes use linings that can feel stiff or cheap. With True Glove, every part of the shoe - the upper, the lining, even the sock and counter pocket - is made from this special leather. The result is a shoe that feels incredible from the inside out, with a fit and finish unlike anything else on the market.
